How many people can go on one of your ribs?
Our ribs are coded for up to 11 persons including professional skipper.
Do all your ribs carry full safety equipment?
Yes. Safety is our absolute first priority for our guests. Nobody steps onboard without a lifejacket on and the boats carry full life rafts, fixed vhf radios, GPS systems (and emergency hand held ones), distress flares, first aid kits, SOLAS (safety of life at sea) grab bags etc
How fast can we go?
Our boats can travel in excess of 40 knots, however the charter will always be tailored to the number, age, and comfort of the guests on board, coupled with the sea and wind state and other factors such as other shipping. The skipper is in charge at all times and it is down to his discretion as to what speeds are safe in what conditions.
Can you tailor an itinerary especially for us?
Yes. Whether you are a corporate or private customer, we will work with you to make sure you and your fellow guests have a wonderful and memorable day out on the water.
Do you supply your boats without a professional skipper?
As a general rule of thumb, the answer is no. This is due to our stringent insurance and liability contracts. The only time we will consider this is if you are a fully certified and MCA approved professional skipper yourself. We would need to see the original copies of all relevant documentation in order to help you.
Do we have to Charter Monkey Puzzle for a whole day?
No. You can charter Monkey Puzzle for a half day or if you just want a “RIB experience” for instance an hour in the Solent experiencing the thrills of being on a RIB, we can organise this for you, dependent on numbers and availability.
